One question we often get is if the babies interact with one another. Sometimes it seems like they are oblivious to one another. And when one baby is crying (or screaming) and the other is sleeping, we are thankful that the sleeping baby can tune out the commotion. But every now and then they definitely know that they are not alone.
Tommy looks like he is biting his sister but Tommy doesn't have teeth...so biting is not the right word. Gnawing might be a better description. Don't worry- I didn't let it continue.
Lily didn't like it! Why does Tommy look so innocent.
At our two month check up the babies were very interactive. Our pediatrician commented that if he was their parent he would have a hard time not standing over them with a video camera all day. Within seconds Tommy had scratched Lily above the eye. Luckily, there wasn't any damage- just a little red dot. At this point, while we encourage their interaction it definately needs to be closely supervised.
