Happy Easter

We hope you all had a joyous Easter!  We certainly did!  It was a beautiful day filled with good food and great company.  We were so glad to be able to spend the weekend with Shaun's parents.  Grandma and Grandpa Lyons had a lot of fun with Lily and Tommy.

It was pretty warm here until the thunderstorms rolled in later in the evening.

On Friday my mom watched the babies so that we could attend a special interfaith Good Friday service (Reformed/Catholic) - the Stations of the Cross service held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  It was a moving service and our first childless service since the babies were born.  Boy, it is a lot easier to concentrate when you aren't worried about one or two babies letting out a squeal...or worse...an explosion during church!  We normally wouldn't call in reinforcements so that we can go to church solo but Good Friday services are so solemn and we didn't feel it would be fitting to bring two babies there.  Shaun had served Stations of the Cross as an alter boy and I was interested in taking part in this special tradition.  We look forward to sharing this tradition with our children in the future.
