Lily and Tommy have certainly found one another! So long are the days of complete ambivalence of the other's presence. Most of their interactions are positive. Now that they are mobile, they end up crawling over each other regularly. The other day, while crawling over one another they somehow ended up in this position...she is sitting in his lap (sort of). It was too cute. I had to find the camera...fast!
Don't get me wrong, not every interaction is as loving and sweet as the one pictured here. We have already seen a few fists come out during moments of frustration. Especially when one baby steals the other's toy or binky. Of course, they are both still perfecting their movements...needless to say, we have had our fair share of unintended head butting.
It is simply amazing to see their relationship with one another grow. They seemed to be able to sense one another as newborns (always conscious of the others whereabouts). But now that consciousness has grown to fascination with one another. Their brother-sister bond is already so special-- they are first friends!
