We spent the rest of the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Lyons. We visited GG Shall too. We all had a lot of fun. We went to the outlets and visited the Disney store. Lily was in heaven. Her Cinderella obession was reinforced for sure by the oddles of Cinderella items available for sale (we slyly purchased some Christmas gifts while Grandma and Grandpa distracted the little ones). We even visited Santa in his house on the Boardwalk (way better than the North Pole, huh).
Santa wasn't a hit! The kids were scared to death. The didn't mind Santa too much last year but this year was a different story.
We tired bringing them into Santa's house.
Poor Santa (we was a good one), he suggested we go outside
(volume control for his benefit no doubt).
Too bad the kids weren't cooperating. What a cool background for a picture
with Santa - a sandy beach!
Lily is signing - she is asking someone, anyone to pick her up.
Since she is already picked up, I interpert that sign as 'lets get out of here.
In all the commotion (and believe me, there was a lot of commotion,
Tommy didn't make it into the shot).
Tommy enjoying the Bethany Beach playground with Grandpa.
On the way home, we stopped at Cracker Barrel (not to eat, to shop).
Tommy and Lily were completed engrossed in the play kitchen...for the whole
time I shopped (20 minutes). Shaun just had to refferee the pots and pans.
