Here are a few photos of the nursery we created for Lilianne and Thomas. Of course, we went with a farm animal theme (like there was another option). We are blessed to have a very large second bedroom that can easily accommodate both babies (at least for a few years). For now, the babies are sleeping in our room at night so the room isn't getting that much use.
We were able to keep the full length pull out sofa in the room. We welcome overnight visitors...but you may be sharing accommodations with two little ones:)
Check out the beautiful diaper cake made by the daughter of a colleague of mine. I hate to take it apart but will need to do so soon. The stack of colored boxes were from my Aunt Cathy Gancarz. The packages contain nursing pads and are labeled on all four sides - Lyons - Babies - Rachel - Shaun. How clever! We also have a bib & wash cloth bouquet on display that was made by my co-worker Marie. What creative ladies!
Okay, so here is where my love for all things organization really begins to take shape. It may not look completely organized from the photo but note the labels on all the drawers. There is also a Key with the location of all major baby supplies in the event that anyone else needs to find the location of a specific item. I am able to embrace my inner nerdiness!
